Barcelona ready to consider selling big name after repeated transfer calls from PSG

Barcelona are reportedly ready to consider selling Ousmane Dembele to Paris Saint-Germain or any other club if the right offer comes in before the end of the month.

Although the transfer window has now closed for Premier League clubs, most top leagues in Europe can still buy and sell players until August 31.

The latest from Barcelona is that there remains the possibility of Dembele sealing a move away from the Nou Camp this summer.

This is because PSG are seemingly showing strong interest, with the club ‘repeatedly’ pushing the France international’s agent over a possible move to the Parc des Princes, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Dembele is described in the report as being a firm favourite of new PSG manager Thomas Tuchel, who managed the player when they were together at Borussia Dortmund.

It was in Germany that Dembele established himself as one of the biggest young prospects in the world, earning himself his big move to Barca last summer.

Things haven’t worked out for the 21-year-old in La Liga, however, with a combination of injuries and a loss of form affecting his first season with the club.

Mundo Deportivo report that Barcelona would not necessarily rule out a sale at this time, so it could be that Dembele is on the move again this year with what looks from all angles like a very logical switch to PSG.

The Frenchman would surely combine well with fellow countryman Kylian Mbappe, and alongside Neymar in what would be one of the fastest and most skilful front lines in world football.
