Blow for Man United as key superstar looks to be left out of travelling squad for Brighton clash

Manchester United superstar Alexis Sanchez appears to have been left out of United’s traveling party ahead of their game tomorrow afternoon against Brighton, according to pictures shown by The Sun.

The absence of Sanchez seems strange, as Mourinho didn’t mention the Chilean in his pre-match press conference, and Sanchez played the entire 90 minutes of United’s opening fixture against Leicester last Friday night.

Although Sanchez being left out may be a good move by Mourinho, as the winger’s failure to put in consistent performances for the Red Devils has seen some fans get on the Chilean’s back.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United will need all hands on deck, except Sanchez’s of course, to come through the Brighton game with a victory, as Chris Houghton’s men shocked everyone towards the end of last season when they claiming a surprise 1-0 victory against Mourinho’s side.

After that result, United will be wary of what Brighton are capable of and will looking to avoid a similar result this time round.

As per the Sun, superstar Paul Pogba is likely to remain as stand-in captain for the Red Devils for their clash against the Seagulls this weekend.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Pogba can replicate the performance he put in against Leicester last week against Chris Hughton’s side this time round, or whether that display against the Foxes was nothing more than a fluke.
