Manchester City attacker’s agents in Spain as La Liga side make formal transfer offer

Real Betis have reportedly made a formal offer to Manchester City to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko on loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

This is according to Spanish source Mundo Deportivo, who report of Betis tabling a loan offer that would have the option to becoming a permanent deal for around £10million next summer.

Zinchenko looks a promising young talent capable of playing a variety of midfield roles or even as a wing-back, but it looks unlikely that he’ll get his breakthrough at City now.

The young Ukraine international may do well to leave the Etihad Stadium for a spell in Spain to get the playing time he needs at this stage of his career.

The 21-year-old made 14 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side last season as they won the Premier League title, but there’s plenty of top class competition in this City squad.

Betis seems a good next step for Zinchenko, and Mundo Deportivo suggest a deal could be close as Betis hope City will now accept an offer after what sounds like fairly advanced talks taking place between the player’s representatives and the club in Spain.
