Liverpool

Jorg Schmadtke will sign as Liverpool new director in the next few days, it’s done — expected to be unveiled very soon. He’s going to sign a short term deal valid for the summer transfer window. Klopp’s ideas will remain crucial part of the process at Liverpool.

Talks remain advanced over a potential deal for Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola: “Pay attention to what I’m about to say, I’m convinced in what I’m saying that Roberto De Zerbi is one of the most influential managers in the last 20 years. Brighton deserve the compliments and success.”

Guardiola on his future: “I will stay at Man City next season. I’m not thinking of leaving the club. I’ll stay next season with 100 breaches for the Premier League against us, don’t worry. We will be there.”

Manchester United

There are no negotiations ongoing between Manchester United and PSG for Neymar as of now. Nothing concrete, no talks… at least with current owners/board. PSG already discussed Neymar’s exit internally, and are looking for a solution this summer. United strongly deny the rumours, they insist this is not true. This is the position of the current board, but they are in a sale process, so we’ll see what happens when it’s resolved – Neymar could be a target for new owners, but at the moment there is nothing concrete.

There have been contacts as Manchester United are interested again in Adrien Rabiot. There is no official bid, and Juventus have also made Rabiot a proposal over a new contract, so the player will decide his future soon. United appreciate the player, though, with Erik ten Hag a big fan since also trying to sign him last summer.

Newcastle United

Eddie Howe on Newcastle plans: “Next one is gonna be a big transfer window for us. We have got to try and get it right. I think we’ve been really good in the three transfer windows so far since I’ve been here.”

PSG

PSG are open to a loan or a permanent transfer, but there is nothing concrete with the current Manchester United ownership.

Sunderland will not trigger €2.5m buy option clause for Edouard Michut. The French midfielder returns to Paris Saint Germain with immediate effect. Michut is under contract until June 2025 and prepared for new transfer in the summer.

Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti confirms: “Vinicius Junior is NOT thinking about leaving. He loves Real Madrid. He wants to have success here, Vini knows this club is his future. His idea is to stay. He wants to play at Real Madrid.”

Real Madrid are furious with the situation regarding Vinicius at Valencia’s stadium. Still, he has no intention to leave this summer, while the club also have no intention to sell the player. The mission is to stay together and to fight against racism together.

Vinicius has already signed a new contract until June 2027, he loves the club, he loves the city, and his teammates. He will stay.

Sunderland
