Carlos Tevez is amongst a host of players set to be shown the exit door at Manchester City this summer according to The Guardian.

City boss Roberto Mancini is keen to revitalise his squad, believing many of the current squad to have become complacent after winning the Premier League title last season.

Mancini has seen his side slip away in the race for the title this year, with city rivals Manchester United currently enjoying a comfortable lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Reports are suggesting that the likes of Carlos Tevez, Gareth Barry, Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri head a group of eleven players who are to be made available for transfer come the end of the season.

Kolo Toure, Roque Santa Cruz and Wayne Bridge are all almost certain to depart as their current deals expire in June.

Tevez, Barry and Joleon Lescott have also been earmarked as they will have less than a year remaining on their current deals.

Responding to speculation regarding his future, England international Gareth Barry said, ‘They are the sort of conversations the lads have now and again.

‘We’ve got the rest of this season and then one more year, and there have been changes upstairs.

‘Everyone is pretty relaxed because they will take time to have a look at things, the way they are going to go in the future, and the players are pretty comfortable with that too. So as individuals we need to work hard when we get the chance.’
