Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert says he is open to loan offers for out-of-favour right-back Alan Hutton, according to Sky Sports.
The Scottish international defender has not had the best time at Villa Park since moving to the club from Tottenham in 2011, and is supposedly concerned about his place in the national side as he struggles to play regular first-team football.
Hutton has previously gone on loan to the likes of Nottingham Forest and Mallorca, and was expected to leave the club this summer.
Surprisingly, he remained with the Midlands side, but continues to be linked with moves away as January approaches.
“If something comes in, we’ll certainly look at it. I spoke to Alan but, at the moment, we’ve not had anything,” Lambert explained.
