The Serie A side are looking to further strengthen their attack following Antonio Conte’s successful summer captures of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente, both of whom have started well since moving to Italy’s top tier.
Juventus sit eight points clear at the top of Serie A and Tevez and Llorente have racked up 18 Serie A goals between them but perhaps Conte feels he could do with another option up front.
Benteke has struggled to repeat his debut season heroics this term and would surely be tempted by a move to the Italian giants though one imagines Aston Villa would seek to make a massive profit on their £7m outlay and Juventus may not have a great deal of funds to play with having failed to secure passage to the last 16 of the Champions League.
Christian Benteke scored 19 goals in his first season at Aston Villa but has experienced something of a goal-drought of late though his diving header against Arsenal did end a barren run of 12 games without a goal.
