Yaya Toure’s kick on Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has got managers from Mark Hughes to Jose Mourinho raving. But the FA have confirmed the Ivorian will not face retrospective punishment and, gracefully, Van Wolfswinkel has forgiven the midfielder.
Toure’s frustration appear to boil over in the 90th minute after the Canaries had restricted City to a 0-0 draw at Carrow Road at the weekend.
