Tottenham are ready to offload as many as six of the seven players they signed last summer according to the Daily Telegraph.

White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy handed former boss Andre Villas-Boas a massive £110m to invest in the summer transfer market and bar Danish international Christian Eriksen it appears those new additions could all be set for an imminent exit from the North London club.

Spurs spent big last summer, using the proceeds brought in from the world record sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, but Levy has seen his side move backwards and last weekend’s defeat to Chelsea leaves Tim Sherwood’s side a mountain to climb in their pursuit of a top four finish.

Chief among the failures have been strike pair Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado, who have scored just six Premier League goals between them, four of which having come from the penalty spot.

Midfielders Etienne Capoue and Paulinho may also be sold and Belgian winger Nacer Chadli has shown only brief glimpses of his quality.

Perhaps surprisingly this source claims that Romanian Vlad Chiriches could also be on his way out though the Romanian has on the whole been fairly solid when called upon. Indeed Tottenham have collected five clean sheets in the 13 Premier League fixtures he has started.
