The brilliant France international only arrived at the north London club last summer, with Lloris joining from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon in a deal worth £12m.

And despite the 27-year-old enjoying a fine debut campaign between the posts for Tottenham so far, it is still looking like the north Londoners will not finish the season in the top four of the Premier League, and so not qualify for the Uefa Champions League.

As a result, Lloris call therefore call time on his career at Spurs, with a number of clubs lining up to sign the shot stopper this summer, including the likes of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, La Liga title holders FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid as well.

PSG are said to be keen to add more French players to their squad at the Parc des Princes next season, while Barca need a replacement for their departing No 1 Victor Valdes, as do Atleti, who are set to lose the services of on-loan Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois.
