The 24-year-old is currently on the books with Championship side Queens Park Rangers, but is spending the reminder of the campaign on loan with AC Milan, who swooped in for a shock move during the January transfer window.

Taarabt had, of course, began the season struggling with Premier League side Fulham, but he had failed to make an impact there and the club sought to terminate his loan agreement.

However, since arriving in Italy he has chipped in with four goals in 13 appearances for the sleeping giants, leading to reported interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

The Moroccan international spent the early part of his career with Spurs though he struggled to make regular appearances for the club and spent much of his time there out on loan with QPR, before eventually making his move to Loftus Road permanent.

Spurs are now looking to revamp their squad ahead of the summer in order to overcome what has been a very disappointing season.
