Fabrizio Romana, the respected Italian journalist for Sky Italia with close links to Gianluca di Marzio, claims that Liverpool’s Brazilian ace Coutinho is set to sign a six-year-contract that will keep him at Anfield until 2020.
The 22-year-old has actually started the season very poorly, and was subbed off in Liverpool’s past two weak performances against Aston Villa and Ludogorets.
The reported contract though proves the faith that the club his manager Brendan Rodgers have in him, and will mean any transfer fe needed to lure him away from Anfield will now likely be enormous.
