Aston Villa have reportedly offered star midfielder Fabian Delph a new four-year deal to keep him at the club beyond the end of the season, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 24-year-old is now in the final year of his deal in the West Midlands, and following a slow start to his career at the club he has become an indispensable member of the squad.
Villa’s player of the year last term is on good Premier League money in his existing deal from when American owner Randy Lerner was splashing the cash.
Last week Villa boss Paul Lambert flew out to the USA to meet with Lerner in order to free up money for new deals as well as plan ahead for the January transfer window.
The club are now offering new deals to Delph and fellow midfield star Jack Grealish in the hope of securing their futures ahead of the new year so they can build to improve on back-to-back 15th place finishes under Lambert.
