Dejan Lovren has been woeful since joining Liverpool from Southampton this summer, and things just got worse for him against Crystal Palace this Sunday afternoon.

The Croatian international has come in for a lot of criticism for his performances this season, and he is sure to receive more following Liverpool’s 3-1 loss against Neil Warnock’s side.
Lovren was poor all afternoon, but looked particularly bad in the build-up to Palace’s second goal. Yannick Bolasie beat him far too easily, with the Liverpool centre-back tumbling at his feet and allowing him a free run at goal. Bolasie went on to cut the ball back cleverly for Joe Ledley, the Welshman slotting it calmly past Simon Mignolet.
