The Etihad Stadium side are set to make a £25m offer for the Ivory Coast international as Manuel Pellegrini looks to strengthen his attack.

Pellegrini has seen Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic all struggle with injuries this term and one can see the Premier League title holders would target in-form 25 year old.

Bony has proven to be a very able Premier League finisher since moving to South Wales from Vitesse Arnhem, bagging 25 goals in 44 starts, and may feel confident he can force his way into Pellegrini’s first team starting eleven.

Such a move would entail losing Bony for the best part of six weeks with the African Nations Cup taking place in January and February.
