Striker expected to be leaving in the summer.
Manchester United could be set to bring in another striker next summer – Javier Hernandez, who is expected to return to Old Trafford after struggling to impress in a loan spell with Real Madrid.
According to the Daily Express, the Mexican international has not done enough at the Bernabeu so far to prompt interest in a permanent deal for the Spanish giants.
The 26-year-old has not fulfilled his potential at Old Trafford either, fading after a strong first season with the club and finding himself out of Louis van Gaal’s plans this season as he loaned him out.
Still, Hernandez now looks set to return to United, with speculation surrounding his long-term future surely set to continue.
