The Spanish international is attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City as his future at the Nou Camp is thrown into some doubt.
The 26-year-old’s current contract runs until 2018, but English sides seemingly hold out some hope that they could lure him away from the club he’s been with for his entire career.
Busquets has been a pivotal part of Barcelona’s success since he rose up through their youth team into the starting lineup under Pep Guardiola, and they will be hoping that talks to renew his deal are successful.
Barca are currently under a transfer ban and cannot buy new players, which perhaps makes it increasingly unlikely that they would make any sales as it would be impossible to land immediate replacements.
