Arturo Vidal Arsenal: Juventus star is not the signing Gunners need in midfield

The Chile international has been linked heavily with a move to either Premier League club, but the Express now claim his agent Fernando Felicevich is now in talks over a four year contract extension with Juve. The Gunners are thought to have offered a deal of the same length to the 28-year-old, but starting now, rather than in 2017 when his current contract expires in Turin.

The midfielder has had a great season for the Bianconeri, helping them to win both Serie A and the Coppa Italia. He could complete a treble with the team if they beat Barcelona in the final of the Champions League. The box to box star has been vital in making sure that Andrea Pirlo is able to play freely, and has also helped Paul Pogba to develop in the middle of the park.

With his high energy style Vidal could be perfect for the Premier League, but English sides may struggle to lure him away from Italy.
