Arsenal have been handed a massive boost ahead of this weekend’s meeting with London rivals Chelsea as both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have been declared fit enough to return to action, the Metro reports.
The Gunners missed their creative spark during the goalless draw with Stoke last weekend, but the club should have their mojo back this week with the return of their two playmakers.
Despite besting the Blues during the Community Shield over the summer, Arsenal tend to have a poor record against them in the League, and will be glad to have the two international stars back available for selection.
“The good news is Ozil certainly will be available. Sanchez, next 2 days decisive but this time I think he’ll make it,” Arsene Wenger said.
Further good news has come with midfielder Francis Coquelin returning to full training, while striker Danny Welbeck has also stepped up his recovery from a long term injury.
