Man United planning to give wonderkid 1000% pay raise

At a weekly salary of a mere £1,500-a-week, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford earned £750 per goal in wins for the club in the Europa League and against Arsenal (£600 per goal if we count assists). Following his incredible breakout performance for the Red Devils, the team are ready to give the 18-year-old forward a massive pay raise to keep him at Old Trafford.

According to the Daily Mail, Man United are entering into talks with Rashford about a new contract worth £15,000-a-week for their prized wonderkid.

Rashford scored two goals in Thursday’s 5-1 Europa League win after he was forced into action following an injury to Golden Boy Anthony Martial suffered in warmups. Wayne Rooney has also been ruled out for several more weeks with an injury of his own, which will almost assuredly result in Rashford’s continued presence up front.

In his Premier League debut against Arsenal, Rashford scored two goals, making him the fourth youngest player in Premier League history to record a brace.
