Aubameyang reveals bold prediction for Real Madrid-Man City Champions League semi-final

Speaking on Spanish radio, Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has made his predictions for the final stages of the Champions League.

Discussing Europe’s premier club competition on El Partido de las 12, on Cope, the Gabon hitman has forecast that Real Madrid will see off Manchester City in the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday evening.

The two sides played out a stalemate at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening, although Los Merengues have reason for optimism with Cristiano Ronaldo potentially in line to return to the side following his recent injury concerns.

Also, while Real warmed up for their semi-final second leg with a victory over Real Sociedad on Saturday, City—who played a day later—suffered a worrying 4-2 defeat against Southampton.

However, while Auba is tipping Real to advance past the Citizens and reach the final, he’s not expecting them to win their 11th UCL crown.

Instead, the Central African attacker is expecting Atletico Madrid to pip Bayern Munich, and then defeat their city rivals in the final in Milan.
