(Video) Epic Paul Pogba celebration as rampant Man United see off Leicester City with first-half blitz

Manchester United secured a 4-1 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, with Paul Pogba scoring his first goal for the club.

The pressure was already on the French international after early question marks were raised over his recent performances, but he produced an excellent response against the Foxes with a Man of the Match display.

While he was an influential figure in the midfield with his vision, passing and the general solidity that he brings to the United line-up, he was also able to celebrate his first goal for the Red Devils since returning to the club this summer.

Goals from Chris Smalling, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford helped the hosts go into the half-time interval with a 4-0 lead, as Demarai Gray struck a superb consolation goal for Leicester but it wasn’t enough to spark any sort of dramatic comeback as the reigning Premier League champions slipped to their third defeat of the season.

Based on his celebration below, it looks as though Pogba enjoyed handing a response to the critics with his first goal of the season, and he’ll hope to have a similarly important impact in the weeks and months ahead.

Next up for United is Zorya in the Europa League on Thursday night, before they return to league action against Stoke City on October 2.
