Paul Pogba has been slammed for putting on a series of underwhelming performances for United however, he did end up scoring his first goal for the club in the 4-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola revealed that the powerful midfielder is still settling in and he also put rest arguments over which is his strongest position. According to Pogba’s agent he is best as a left attacking midfielder.
“Pogba still has to find his place in the team. My preferred position for him is left attacking midfielder,” the Frenchman’s agent added.
Raiola also took a shot at United boss Jose Mourinho for not playing him in his best position and underlined that if Mourinho did play him in his correct place he would be unstoppable.
“With his power, stamina and technique, Pogba would be unplayable in that role. But [Jose] Mourinho takes the decisions.”
Raiola also revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic threatened to break his legs if he let the French international sign for a club other than Mnahcester United.
Ibrahimovic is not exactly the kind of guy you want to mess with. He’s tall, strong and has a black belt in Karate.
“Zlatan told me ‘Do not transfer Pogba elsewhere or I will break your legs’,” Raiola was quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.
Pogba did end up joining United for a world record transfer fee from Juventus over the summer but he has not exactly hit the ground running.
