(Photo) Chelsea cause for concern as Diego Costa meets up with old boss during international break

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has shared an image on Instagram of him catching up with his former Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.

The Spaniard is with his national team squad as they prepare for their World Cup qualifier against Macedonia on Saturday before a friendly against England at Wembley next Tuesday.

However, he managed to find time to meet up with Simeone, and took the brave decision to post an image of them together on social media.

Naturally, it’s more than likely it isn’t anything more than two friends and former colleagues catching up, but it’s obviously concerned a few Chelsea fans with comments such as “don’t leave” and “please don’t go” popping up to accompany the image.

Costa has been in great form so far this season having scored nine goals already, and speculation of an exit over the summer now seems a distant memory having rediscovered his best form under Antonio Conte.

As reported by The Mirror, he was heavily linked with a return to the Spanish capital this past summer and even admitted that he was open to making the move.

However, he opted to stay at Stamford Bridge and and will now enjoy a mere catch-up with his former coach before switching his focus back to helping Chelsea continue their impressive run after the international break.

Gran reencuentro y grandes recuerdos @simeone
