Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen gave his side the lead in their FA Cup quarter-final clash with Millwall at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The Danish international was brought on early to replace the injured Harry Kane, with Spurs fans unsurprisingly concerned about his condition after what looked to be a nasty ankle twist.
However, Eriksen made his mark after scoring just past the half-hour mark to break Millwall’s resolve and put Tottenham in control of the tie as they look to avoid any slip-ups without their talismanic forward.

It wasn’t long before Spurs doubled their lead as Heung-Min Son bagged the second goal of the game as the hosts look well on course to reach the last four of the FA Cup.
Arsenal booked their place in the semi-finals along with Manchester City on Saturday, and so should Tottenham go on to win the game as expected now, it sets up a fascinating couple of games with Chelsea taking on Manchester United on Monday night.
