Hugo Sanchez looking to manage Real Madrid

Goal.com reports that the Mexican national team coach Hugo Sanchez is eager to manage a top Spanish club after he has led the North American nation to the 2010 World Cup. And Real Madrid are underlined as his favourite destination.

Sanchez played with finesse and elegance for Real as well as for their smaller neighbours Atletico Madrid – and now wants to play the role of manager for either of those clubs. Although he admits he has affection for both Madrid clubs, he would like to take charge of the Whites once day.

The former Mexican international says:

”Of course, I’d love to go to Real Madrid – that’s my goal.”

But Sanchez is quick to point out that he wouldn’t move to Barcelona for obvious reasons. Not that Barca would like a Real Madrid legend taking charge of the club. That would be a disgrace, really.
