The Telegraph reports that Big Phil, clearly a member of the Frank Lampard fan club, wants to offer the England midfielder a whopper of a contract.
In fact, the contract that Scolari is offering Lampard is so huge that it is going to break the wage structure at Chelsea. Not that we knew there was a wage structure at Chelsea, a club owned by one of the richest men in the world. Let’s be honest though, £150,000 a week is a lot of money to us normal human beings, but to Roman Abramovich, it is probably a similar amount to what he gives his kids for pocket money.
