It could be bad news for Arsenal, as AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani again made it clear that the Togo striker will be their only target this summer.
The Italian outfit will be playing in the UEFA Cup next year, and will be looking to strengthen their squad to make sure they don’t miss out on Champions League football. After persuading Mathieu Flamini to leave the Gunners they will be confident of capturing the Arsenal hitman with a reported bid of £32 million.
With so many other strikers on the market – Huntelaar, Etoo, Berbatov, Villa, Benzema – this declaration will worry Arsene Wenger who has a strict policy on wages and may not be able to match what Milan have to offer.
Will Arseanl be able to hold onto their top scorer, or should Wenger cash in and look to unearth another gem. Perhaps St. Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis?
