Arsenal have agreed a deal to loan Emmanuel Frimpong to Fulham for the remainder of the current campaign according to the club’s official website.
The 21 year old recently completed a six week spell at Charlton Athletic and is some way off the Gunners first team set-up and clearly Arsene Wenger feels comfortably allowing the tough tackler to leave the club for an extended period.
Such a move may well give Arsenal fans hope that Wenger will be bringing in a defensive midfielder to offer protection to his more creative talents.
Arguably the North London side have suffered due to the lack of an effective replacement for Alex Song, who left for Barcelona last summer.
Frimpong has made just three Premier League starts for Arsenal.
