Aston Villa star hoping for big move this summer.
Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has reportedly spoken of a desire to leave for Arsenal or Tottenham this summer, according to the Daily Express.
The 22-year-old is currently on international duty with Belgium, and is said to have told his team-mates that he is looking for a move away from Villa Park in the upcoming transfer window.
After a storming first season in the Premier League, Benteke has attracted a lot of attention from clubs in England and abroad, scoring 19 league goals to aid Villa in their fight against relegation after joining from Belgian side Genk for just £7million.
Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in him, as both are looking for strikers this summer to replace departing star players Robert Lewandowski and Radamel Falcao, respectively.
However, Benteke himself is said to favour a stay in England, and will hold talks with Villa boss Paul Lambert to try and force a move to either Arsenal or Tottenham, both of whom are also seemingly making new strikers a priority in the transfer market.
After a difficult season, Villa could also lose another key player in Andreas Weimann, who is wanted by both Liverpool and Newcastle.
