Pepe Reina has said that he is happy at Liverpool and moves to quash rumours of a move back to Barcelona.
Pepe Reina has said that he will consider extending his contract at Liverpool because he is happy at the club and will not be returning to Barcelona according to Sky Sports.
Reports all over Europe have suggested that Barcelona will make a move for the Liverpool goalkeeper if Victor Valdes decides to leave the Nou Camp.
Reina however has moved to deny any rumours of a move back to Catalonia and would be open to extending his stay at Anfield.
“I have my own contract with Liverpool for three more years,” said Reina. “Nothing has changed”.
“If so, we want to make it bigger and my future is with Liverpool”.
Victor Valdes could be set to leave Barcelona in 2014 when his contract runs out.
It could be possible that Barcelona will wait until next season to try and sign the Liverpool goalkeeper.
Reina moved to Liverpool from Villarreal in 2005 and has made a series of eye catching displays during his time at the club.
During his second season at Anfield, Liverpool reached the Champions League final, losing to Italian giants AC Milan.
