Victor Wanyama has admitted that he could leave Celtic this summer, saying that their are talks going on with other clubs about his future.

Sky Sports reports that while Wanyama is trying to concentrate on playing for his country, their are talks taking place behind the scenes about his club future.

Wanyama captained Kenya last week when they lost 1-0 to Nigeria and is trying to regain his fitness in time for the World Cup qualifier against Malawi later this week.

The Kenyan is currently struggling with a leg injury and is a doubt for the match.

When asked about the possibility of a move to the Premier League, Wanayama said “At the moment there are some things, some talks going on”.

The midfielder has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League this summer following a series of impressive performances for Celtic in the Champions League.

Wanyama played an important role in Celtic’s victory over Barcelona in the Champions League group stage.

Arsenal, Newcastle and Southampton are interested in signing the Kenyan, and bidding could start at around £10 million for the highly rated midfielder.

Italian giants Inter Milan are also interested in the Kenyan and a move to Italy would interest Wanyama.
