Emirates Stadium side keen on bringing box to box performer.
Whilst Arsenal have firmly set their sights on Liverpool striker Luis Suarez it appears that the North London side have also got their eyes on another Merseyside based talent.
The Sunday Mirror state that Arsene Wenger is keen on Everton midfield powerhouse Marouane Fellaini who could be picked up for a fee of £23m.
Arsenal would have to challenge Man United for the Belgian international who could certainly add a new dimension to the Gunners midfield.
After five seasons at Goodison Park 25 year old Fellaini may feel that the exit of David Moyes is the catalyst for a move to a ‘bigger’ club who can offer him Champions League football and Roberto Martinez will certainly be mindful of interest in one of his prized assets this summer.
The powerful midfielder could offer Arsenal some much needed steel to their midfield and could complement creative talents like Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta whilst also offering a more direct dimension, not to forget that Fellaini also has a real eye for goal, the former Standard Liege man netting a dozen goals in all competitions last season.
