South Korea star makes switch to Philips Stadion.
Queens Park Rangers midfield player Park Ji-Sung has joined Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan, according to reports in the Daily Express.
The experienced South Korea international has only been at Loftus Road for one season now, having originally arrived in west London from Manchester United last July on a two-year deal.
However, despite at times captaining the Hoops and featuring in 25 matches in total in all competitions for Harry Redknapp’s side, including in 20 contests in the Premier League, the 32-year-old failed to score either a single goal or create one either for a QPR team-mate in his debut campaign in the capital.
And to cap it all off for Park, the club were then relegated from the Premier League come the end of the season, resulting in QPR being forced to undertake a fire sale of big-name players on high salaries during the summer transfer window.
One of those high earners, though, was Park and the skilful wide man has now agreed to move to the Philips Stadion on a season-long loan for the new campaign, although QPR are still being forced to pay part of the player’s big-money wage due to salary cap restrictions in Holland.
