Parc des Princes join growing list of clubs keen on underused Stamford Bridge star.
PSG have set their sights on Chelsea attacker Juan Mata according to the Daily Express.
Having failed in their pursuit of German international Mesut Ozil Parc des Princes boss Laurent Blanc has made it clear he is interested in the Blues star, who has found himself seemingly surplus to requirements under Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss appears to value Brazilian Oscar ahead of Mata and the former Valencia man has started just two of Chelsea’s five Premier League fixtures thus far this season and was hauled off on both occasions.
Tottenham are also said to be keeping tabs on the 25 year old and if the Spaniard continues to find himself playing second fiddle at Stamford Bridge by January then an offer for his services may well be gladly accepted though one wonders quite where Mata would fit in at PSG given the host of creative midfield talents the Ligue 1 side have to call upon.
Mata has been a big success since moving to Chelsea back in the summer of 2011, scoring 32 goals and providing 48 assists to help the Blues to Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup triumphs in the process.
