Emirates Stadium side ready to splash the cash in order to strengthen attack.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to make an offer of £15m for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente but will wait until next summer before launching a bid according to the Daily Mail.
After initially struggling for form since his summer free transfer move to Turin 28 year old Spanish international Llorente has begun to win over the club’s supporters with consistent goal-scoring displays with the former Athletic Bilbao man scoring in back to back fixtures against Real Madrid as well as during Sunday’s win over Napoli.
Arsene Wenger is heavily reliant on Olivier Giroud and with Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott suffering with injuries there is a danger that the lack of decent support up front could derail Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge.
However Juventus are apparently unlikely to listen to offers for Llorente in January but come the summer could apparently be ready to cash in on a player that cost the club nothing.
Prior to his move to Italy Llorente netted 118 goals in 333 appearances for Athletic Bilbao but opted to run down his contract with the Basque club in order to secure a free transfer move to Juventus and come the summer the forward may well be in a better position to decide if a fresh challenge is in order.
