The rangy 18 year old midfielder, who has been likened in style to French legend Zinedine Zidane, has impressed since breaking into the Parc des Princes first team but has struggled to retain a foothold in Laurent Blanc’s first team set-up.
Jose Mourinho is willing to fork out £10m to bring in the French Under 21 international and may be amenable to then loaning back the youngster to the Ligue 1 side for the remainder of the current campaign.
Rabiot has started five of PSG’s 13 Ligue 1 fixtures thus far this season and one does wonder if his first team chances would be increased at Chelsea?
Jose Mourinho may well be keen to plan for the future and brought in youngsters Marco van Ginkel and Christian Atsu over the summer and could well feel that Rabiot is a player with sufficient potential to make a big impact at Stamford Bridge.
