Spaniard has endured a frustrating campaign in west London to date.
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Laurent Blanc wants to sign out-of-favour Chelsea wide man Juan Mata when the winter transfer window opens again for business in the new year, according to reports on Sport24.

The brilliant Spain international has surprisingly only been used as a bit-part player so far in this campaign by returning Blues manager Jose Mourinho, with the self-styled ‘Special One’ instead preferring to utilise the likes of Brazilian playmaker Oscar and Belgium winger Eden Hazard in attack.
As a result Mata, who was voted the west London club’s player of the season in the previous campaign, has so far featured in a total of 12 matches in all competitions for the Blues under the Portuguese, eight of which have come in the Premier League, although many of those have come via the substitutes’ bench.
And with only one goal and three assists to his name from those 12 encounters, it appears as though the 25-year-old’s days at Stamford Bridge are numbered, with the Ligue 1 champions now understood to be keen to lure Mata to the Parc des Princes at the turn of the year.
However, whether ‘Mou’ will allow the player to move to the French capital in January is still open to debate.
