French league leaders went head to head with the Gunners last summer in bid to land in-demand playmaker.
Big-spending Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain will only make a move for highly rated Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye if the Parisians are able to first offload a number of players from the Parc des Princes, according to the club’s head coach Laurent Blanc on SkySports.com.

The mega-rich French giants have been closely monitoring Cabaye for some time now, and came desperately close to luring the 27-year-old back home during the last transfer window, only to fail in their efforts.
However, with PSG boss Blanc known to be a big admirer of his compatriots, the club are understood to be keen to reignite their longstanding interest in the playmaker during the January transfer window, with some reports even suggesting that the Ligue 1 leaders will make a bid of £22m for Cabaybe this month.
But Blanc has now confirmed that that will only happen if PSG are able to first sell some of their squad members.
“We will not change much. If there is movement, it will not be much,” said the PSG manager.
“I am very happy with the strength of my squad, but there may be movement based on departures.
“I have always thought that Cabaye is a very good player. But I have nothing more to say.”
Cabaye has also been targeted by Premier League leaders Arsenal, with the north London club even lodging an offer of just £10m for the brilliant playmaker at the start of this campaign that was rejected out of hand by the north-east outfit.
