Jose Mourinho will have been impressed with the Hazard’s efforts this term, the former Lille man being the most consistent of his attacking armoury this season, and will surely fight off any bid from the Parc des Princes side.
Nonetheless PSG will mount a €60m (£49m) bid for Hazard, who cost Chelsea £32m a little over 18 months ago, as Laurent Blanc looks to further strengthen his hugely talented front-line.
Blanc perhaps sees Hazard as the ideal man to provide the ammunition for strike duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani and though Hazard clearly enjoyed his previous spell in Ligue 1, winning the title back in 2010/11, the flair player appears to be enjoying life at Stamford Bridge at present.
Hazard scored 13 goals and provided a whopping 20 assists in his 62 appearances in 2012/13 and is not only the Blues top-scorer in the Premier League in the current campaign he is also the club’s leading assist maker to boot.
PSG may have more luck attempting to purchase Hazard’s team-mate Juan Mata.
