Liverpool target Martin Montoya is said to be cool on a move to Anfield as he hopes to win a contract extension at Barcelona, according to talkSPORT.

The 22-year-old is out of contract at the Nou Camp at the end of the season, but has so far been unable to agree fresh terms with the club.
Liverpool hold a definite interest in the highly rated right-back, and boss Brendan Rodgers has made no secret of his desire to bring the player on board. Last year the club even sent managing director Ian Ayre over to Catalonia to gauge how keen the player would be on securing a move to Anfield.
There is competition for his services, though, as Serie A giants Roma are also keen, and have reportedly made a bid of their own earlier this week.
However, both sides may be out of luck if Barca do eventually decide to hand him fresh terms as he has stated that he is happy at the club and is willing to bide his time over being offered an extension.
