CM – Mathieu Flamini
Arsenal’s midfield essentially picks itself today, because Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey are all injured. This means Flamini should be recalled in a combative midfield role.
CM – Mikel Arteta
Arteta will aide Flamini in creating Arsenal’s midfield platform, which will hopefully allow young Englishman Oxlade-Chamberlain the licence to drive through the centre of the park.
CAM – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Playing from a central role (which he’s rarely done in his Arsenal career) Oxlade-Chamberlain was excellent against Bayern, completing a very impressive ten successful dribbles. As a result, Wenger should give him a chance in the middle again.
