Stamford Bridge man wants Parc des Princes switch.
Chelsea fan favourite David Luiz has told his Stamford Bridge employers that he wants to join PSG according to Football Direct News.
The 26 year old has been lined up as a Parc des Princes signing for some time, seen by some as a replacement for exit bound defender Alex, and now it appears that the Brazilian is looking to make the move a reality.
A number of Blues officials are said to be angry at the timing of his decision, coming just before the two sides come face to face in Champions League action.
David Luiz has started less than half Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures this season and has been used most recently in a defensive midfield role with Jose Mourinho continuing to use John Terry and Gary Cahill as his first choice centre-back pairing.
Mourinho may well be happy to offload Luiz though will surely demand a big fee for the star performer, who was pivotal to the West London club’s successes in the Champions League and Europa League in recent seasons.
