The experienced France international’s future at the north London club has been in doubt for some time now, especially as the 31-year-old’s current deal in the capital is set to run out at the end of June.
And with Sagna and the Gunners having yet to come to any sort of agreement about extending the player’s stay in north London beyond this summer, despite the two parties having been locked together in negotiations for the past year now, it seems certain that the Frenchman will now bring an end to his seven-year association with the club come the end of the campaign.
However, initially it was thought that Sagna would join either Premier League rivals Manchester City, La Liga giants Real Madrid, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain or Turkish outfit Galatasaray next season, although now it seems that the full back will move to Fenerbahce instead after being offered a bumper deal worth £100,000 per week to move to Instanbul.
