Ex-England custodian gives ex-England striker a kicking.
Queens Park Rangers confirmed their place in the Championship playoff final on Monday night thanks to a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic at Loftus Road.
After the Latics took an early lead, Rangers had to wait until the 79th minute to restore parity as Charlie Austin scored from the penalty spot.
After Austin slotted the ball in the Wigan net, QPR’s Bobby Zamora walked into a nasty kicking from Wigan keeper Scott Carson as he failed to see the big striker approaching when he went to hood the ball in frustration.
The incident went largely unseen in the goal celebrations, and no punishment was brought to the goalkeeper.
