The Gunners had initially been interested in the Greek international before he made the switch to Cravan Cottage during the January transfer window.

And he is not set to bail on the west London side just six months after joining up with the Cottagers after failing to make an impact with them.

Injuries and failure to win the trust of manager Felix Magath have limited him to just a handful of appearances as the club battled relegation, and he is now looking for his second move in the space of a year.

Mitroglou was in superb form with the Greek champions in the first half of the season where he scored 14 times in 12 league matches as well as three goals in the Champions League.

Italian giants Inter Milan are also said to be interested in the 26-year-old, but Fulham will look to make back most of the £12m they paid Olympiakos for him at the start of the year.
