The Argentine, who primarily operates on the left side of defence but can also move into a more central position is said to have attracted interest from Catalonia because of his versatility.
The Blaugrana are planning to give their squad a facelift in the summer, even if they should succeed in defeating Atletico Madrid this weekend to retain La Liga.
