Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has scouted the Chilean this season and with talk of the 25 year old likely to leave the Nou Camp the former Udinese forward may be tempted by a move to the Merseyside club.
Sanchez initially struggled for form following his £30m move to the Catalan giants back in July 2011 but has been in fine form this term, netting 21 goals in all competitions this term.
However the adaptable attacker may find it hard to secure regular first team football next term with Neymar likely to be getting top billing as Barcelona’s first choice supporting striker to Lionel Messi.
Rodgers could well be looking to use Sanchez in a three pronged attack alongside in-form Liverpool pair Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
The Liverpool manager may look to offload the likes of Fabio Borini, Iago Aspas and Oussama Assaidi to make room for such an addition.
Sanchez could be just one of a host of Barcelona players who could be on their way after a poor campaign under Gerardo Martino, who has announced his decision to leave the La Liga side after just one trophyless campaign in charge.
