The 31-year-old is out of contract on July 1st, and will be able to dip into the free transfer pool in order to negotiate his future as he looks increasingly likely to head for the exit door at the Emirates.
It has been largely suggested that he will link up with the Premier League champions, with many sources claiming that a deal has already been agreed between the two.
However, the full-back has refuted those rumours by insisting that no switch has been put in place, but he has revealed that he will not allow the issue of his future to drag on into the summer.
Sagna told Telefoot: “Have I already signed a contract with Manchester City? No, that is not true.
“My situation will be sorted out before the World Cup, but I haven’t signed for anyone so far.
“We all have our own destiny and I will try to find mine.”
