PSG target aims to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Check in to Belgium vs Algeria

Chelsea play-maker Eden Hazard has confirmed that he has no intention of leaving the London club this summer and is in talks over a new contract with the Blues, reports the Daily Mail.

Hazard enjoyed a sensational season at Stamford Bridge last year and had been strongly linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

With the money that PSG have at their disposal, most players in the game are within their reach, and their boss Laurent Blanc has made it clear he would love to bring in the talented attacker. However, the Belgian has distanced himself from any such switch, reassuring Chelsea fans he will be at the Bridge for the foreseeable future.

“I am staying at Chelsea, 100 per cent sure,” stated the man who scored 14 Premier League goals last season.

“Of course in football you never know, but I am under contract with Chelsea and I want to stay there.

“And I am in discussions with Chelsea for a new contract. It is only the beginning of the talks right now, but we have got time.

“But the fact that Chelsea have offered me a new deal means that they have got a lot of confidence in me, that I can do a good job, and that they can count on me.”

It is no surprise that the 23-year-old is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge with reports suggesting that any new deal would be worth around £200,000-per-week and last for five years.
